Bankruptcy Clinic
University of Minnesota Law School
Students at the University of Minnesota Law School provide pro bono services
to individuals in serious financial difficulty contemplating filing for
bankruptcy and to individuals otherwise involved in a bankruptcy case.
During a two-semester clinic course co-taught by Clinton Cutler and Mary
Cox, law school students represent a spectrum of clients including potential
debtors, debtors seeking a hardship discharge of student loans, debtor-defendants
in adversary proceedings, and sometimes individual creditors. People needing
assistance can contact the Clinic Office at the University of Minnesota
Law School by telephone at 612/625-5515 or by e-mail at raygo001@tc.umn.edu.
Lawyers may also refer people requiring pro bono assistance to the Clinic
Office. Further inquiries about the clinic can be directed to mcox@hensonefron.com.
