Now @ practicelaw

New Probate Forms! Between now and June 30, practicelaw is rolling out 42 new probate forms, nearly doubling the number of probate forms available on practicelaw. The new forms include descent proceeding forms, application and clearance for medical assistance claim forms, additional claims-related forms, successor personal representative forms, omitted and incorrectly described property forms and various estate planning and administration forms, such as disclaimers and affidavits of domicile.

New! The Practice Blawg informs practicelaw users about what we've done, what we are developing, and generally what we are thinking. While you may come to practicelaw for a quick update or to download a form, the blog is a more robust resource for keeping up to date on new developments and new materials, as well as following trends and developments in the practice areas we cover.

Upgraded! The ability to save data in practicelaw's PDF forms is generally only available when using Adobe Reader 9.0 or FoxIt Reader, a recommended free PDF reader. NOTE: Adobe has recently released Adobe Reader 9.1, but because of known issues with that upgrade, we do not at this time recommend upgrading to that version. Either continue to use Adobe Reader 9.0 or use the recommended alternative reader, FoxIt Reader. We have not tested our forms with other PDF readers and editors, such as CutePDF. Read more.

In Demand. The 'Monster' Stipulated Judgment and Decree in a marital dissolution action is now posted in the Family Law area. Developed by more than thirty family law attorneys over the course of the last year, the 66-page document serves as a template form as well as a comprehensive checklist of most issues that arise in drafting a final document in a marital dissolution action.

Trust accounting guides for use in setting up and operating your IOLTA are posted in the Practice Management area. Includes accounting guides for QuickBooks® 2005 Professional; QuickBooks® 6.0; Microsoft® Small Business Accounting 2006; Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2007; and Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2007.

Transfer on Death Deeds are available in fillable PDF in the Real Property area and in mndocs, the MSBA's document assembly system.
